8.6 BUY FLOOR MODELS, DEMONSTRATORS AND SCRATCH AND DENT, BLEMISHED, BLEMS

Floor models, demonstrators and scratch and dent, blemished or blems can be a great buy if they do not show a lot of wear. Make sure that all the features work properly in the store. Since they are floor models they should already be set up and plugged in. You can run your floor model through its paces right there in the store. I bought an amplified phone at Radio Shack as a floor model. I was able to compare it to several other phones on display. The one I chose had the best volume control by far and I got it for 30% off.

==Ask the manager of the store or the department store section if any floor models are on sale at a discount.
