8.5 BUY REFURBISHED ELECTRONICS

My friend, Harry Lewis, points out that new equipment is often only spot tested and never run though a battery of tests. Refurbished which often sells for 30% less has run a gauntlet of tests.

A refurbished product is one that has been returned to the factory, tested, repaired and tested again. In short, refurbished in often a much better deal. I have owned a number of factory refurbished items and all have worked well.
