8.0 BUY USED AND SECONDHAND PRODUCTS AND MERCHANDISE

It's new and improved! Well, maybe. Newer is not always better. There are many products and merchandise that are actually better used and are discounted as much as 90%. A new item is an untested product that has no track record.

And by the way, as the old saying goes, everyone drives a used car and wears used clothes. These are really only new in the showroom or on the shelf at the store.

Some very smart stores have started selling used along with new. This gives the consumer more choice. Look for a description of these stores under availability in the following listings.

The only problem with used stuff is that it is bit harder to find. However, once you get into the habit of looking for used merchandise, you will be amazed at how much is readily available. Plus there is nothing like the thrill of finding a really good deal for a fantastic price. To get a sense of what a fair price should be check on e-Bay for sales of comparable items.
