4.6 GOVERNMENT ENERGY RESOURCES
Many
states and US territories have an energy office that may be able to furnish you with
information, literature and assistance. The United States Government has resources for
efficient use of energy and appliances as well.
In
addition these offices may offer special programs such as incentives to spend money on
energy-saving devices or discount energy rates for the poor or the elderly or information
about building codes.
