Washing in cold water will help keep your clothes from fading. Drying for the minimum amount of time puts less stress on your clothing. Your clothes will look better and last longer too. #1. Wash clothes in cold (60 degrees or more) or warm water, but not hot except for heavily soiled clothes. #2. Always rinse in cold water. You gain nothing by using warmer water. #3. Don't over dry clothes. If your dryer has a moisture sensing sensor, use it because it will sense when the clothes are dry and may even go through a "cool down" cycle. It will be more accurate than any timed setting you use. |
