8.2 BUY USED AND SECONDHAND CLOTHES, SUITS, DRESSES, PANTS ETC.
When
you buy at a thrift store you will often pay 90% off the new price. Since these clothes
have already been washed several times, the colors should not change very much over the
years. Since it has been worn, you can easily find any weakness in the seams, or glitches
in the zipper. It shouldn't shrink or stretch. When you take home used clothing that you
have examined carefully, you can count on that clothing to last.
New
clothing, on the other hand, may fade, bleed, tear, stretch or shrink. You don't really
know until you have worn it and washed it a few times.

clothing is very plentiful. You should be able to find dozens of thrift stores and
consignment shops even in a small area.
==Consignment
shops often have old fashioned styles which you will not be able to find new. You will
find dresses with lace and velvet. There are even 60s and 70s consignment
shops.
==Yard
sales and church bazaars may have the best prices.
==Thrift
stores have sales. Some even sell by the bag just to get rid of clothing that has not
sold.
