6.2 ACCESS CODES FOR ATT, MCI, SPRINT LONG DISTANCE CARRIERS

==If you call "local long distance" (areas close by but still long distance) you may find that you are being charged high fees (as much as double) for those calls by your local phone company. Learn to use the "access code" of your long distance company. The access code is a 5 digit code that you dial before dialing the regular number. When you use the access code you are by-passing your local phone company and instead insuring that your long distance carrier will handle the call.
