comics. Kids especially love this. Some people get so interested in reading the comics,
they almost forget to open the present.

for spectacular thrift store sales. In Durham, NC where I used to live, the Junior League
had an annual sale right after Thanksgiving which was a bonanza. My wife and I bought a
used dishwasher there for $40 which we used for 8 years. Thrift stores and church sales
often save some of their best sales and merchandise for Christmas time.
