The problem is how do you find what you are looking for. First, you need to access a search engine. If you are looking primarily for quality information, you might consider an online encyclopedia or a directory. But more than just plain search engines, there are also specialized searches for travel, used products, etc. Here are links to the main search engines: Google is known for its fast relevant searches with a simple straight forward interface. DIRECTORIES Directories are maintained by humans (how old fashioned) who actually look at each web site in addition to using computer tools such as checking for broken links. Drill down through the tree-like structure until you find a category that meets your needs. If you have trouble finding a category do a search of the directory (i.e. only within the directory). This will bring up a number of web sites. Next find a description of a web site that is close to what you are looking for and then click on the link to the related category. This will take you to the full directory listing. ==== Open Directory Open Directory is the largest of its kind on the web. It is a great place to start. Each listing has been looked at carefully by an editor. By finding the right category and clicking through the various web sites, you know will be looking at quality.
