PLASTIC ONE-GANG BOX

Description: This is blue or gray plastic and looks like a gem box with expandable brackets.

Buying information: This is the only plastic box available for old work, and it will accept either a switch or a receptacle. It is -- like all plastic boxes -- cheaper than metal.

How-to hint: Cut a hole and insert the box. The ears expand and hold it flush with the wall.
