2.2 ANNUAL CLOTHING SALES; DISCOUNT CLOTHES AND CLOTHING.
Sales
often repeat year after year. Every season there should be one major sale. If you like a
certain store's clothing, save their sales circulars and catalogs. Then you'll be able to
go back and see when they've had sales in the past and what their lowest discount has
been. Usually they will offer the same types of sales and discounts in the coming year.
You can also contact the marketing manager for a promotional schedule or calendar. Write
down these dates on a calendar and expect the same sales in the coming year.
Annual
sales such as Founder's Day, Midnight Madness, Anniversary, Christmas in July, Memorial
Day, and Columbus Day are regular events that you can plan for. Stores buy discounted
merchandise just for these sales, so expect good prices throughout the store.
