FIBERGLASS SCREENING
Description:
This looks like any other screening. It is available in gray and black.
Buying
information: Fiberglass is inexpensive, and lasts for years -- even in
saltwater areas. Its only drawback is that it can be cut easily. An object that will
bounce off aluminum will tear fiberglass.
How-to
hints: Install this type like other screening, but in metal-screened frames
it is advisable to use spline that is one size larger in diameter than you would use for
comparable metal screen. Otherwise the fiberglass can work its way free.
