PLASTIC CLOSET FLANGE, TOILET BOWL OR SEAT PARTS

Description: This is a circular plastic disk with cutouts.

Buying information: The flange is the part that is screwed to the floor; the toilet, in turn, is bolted to the flange. A plastic flange is also glued to the top of the drain pipe. It has a movable interior portion that helps align the bolts inserted in it.

How-to hints: You can install a plastic flange because it just involves gluing and screwing it in place; a brass flange requires soldering it to the soil pipe with hot lead, a professional job.
