DRESSER COUPLING, OTHER PIPE PLUMBING FITTINGS

Description: This is a short length of pipe with washers and nuts, in plastic, brass, or galvanized.

Buying information: When a water pipe leaks, a dresser coupling can save expensive disassembly of the pipe to make a repair.

How-to hint: Use a hacksaw to cut the pipe where the leak is. Spread apart the pipe ends and slip on the coupling. Tighten the nuts on the coupling (using a pair of wrenches) to create a watertight seal.
