Description: This is a small, barrellike metal item with a screen.

Buying information: Aerators are designed to add air to water. Some are adjustable to vary the consistency of the stream obtained. Most aerators come with three or four plastic threaded adapters so they will fit any faucet.

How-to hint: To clean an aerator, invert it and place it under running water.
