SAFETY HASP
Description:
This looks something like the standard hasp, but the hinged piece conceals the hasp screw
holes.
Buying
information: For use in securing valuables.
How-to
hints: To keep someone from being able to unscrew the hasp, use carriage
bolts. But they can only be used on rather large hasps because of the size of the bolts
themselves: typically they are 1/4 inch in diameter and larger, which would require 5/16
or 3/8-inch mounting holes in the hasp. Carriage bolts are not always available in
3/16-inch diameter.
