FEMALE APPLIANCE PLUG,

Description: This is a flat rectangular receptacle plug with slots for prongs.

Buying information: This plug is used on small appliances: It plugs into prongs on the appliance.

How-to hints: To replace the plug, remove the screws holding the two halves together and unfasten the line cord wires. As a rule, however, this type of plug "burns up" and is not repairable.
