Buying information: Some porcelain fixtures are a plain light socket, while others also have a plug receptacle or other available options. Maximum wattages range from 250 to 600. Get the higher wattage if you think you might need the capacity.
How-to hints: Porcelain fixtures come with screw terminals, prewired leads, or two leads ready for connecting. The lead type is easiest to install. If necessary, the sockets on porcelain fixtures can be replaced -- you needn't buy the entire fixture.
