Description: This is absolutely clear, 36-inch-wide, heavy vinyl film.

Buying information: This material is sold by the foot (it's expensive) and makes an ideal material as a storm-door window. Unlike rigid plastics, it does not scratch or cloud up. It can be removed after the cold-weather season and put away for reuse the next year. A good storm window can be made using a metal screen frame. Follow the same procedure you would in replacing screening (see this section online), but use a spline that is one size larger than you would normally use.
