== Hotel rooms You should always ask for a lower rate. When you check in also ask for an upgrade and/or a free breakfast. == Most used items == A new or used car == A home == Any product which is not in perfect condition You can get a discount at virtually any store. Examples include: blemished clothes, a slightly dented appliance, a dog eared book at a bookstore. == Just about any used product advertised in the classified section of the newspaper. == Products with expiration dates that are about to expire or have expired such as photographic film, milk, cheese, bread, meat. == Doctor's fees over and above the insurance. The doctor may agree to accept the payment of the insurance company and not bill you for an extra amount, even if this is within his or her rights. == Hospital bills when paid in cash on time. Some hospitals will give you a discount for paying the full amount immediately. == The interest rate on a loan and the interest paid on a CD. Sometimes this is negotiable. == Fruit and vegetables that are too ripe. == Payments for a large bill, such as a doctor or hospital bill or an appliance. Under many conditions you can pay off on time saving you hundreds or thousands of dollars in interest. == Unsatisfactory service. If
you paid for a service and did not get all your were promised, then negotiate for a refund
or an extra.

6.0.3 WHEN YOU CAN BARGAIN== When you buy in quantity from just about anyone. Many stores do not advertise this, but many will sell you items by the case for less. For example. you can often get a contractor's price when you buy three appliance or more from the same store. == When you find you do a lot of business with one store. == Just about any product you find in the clearance or closeout section. |
